If you are reading this post, then the thought of giving up, on whatever goal or ambition you were working towards, has already crossed your mind. That very thought is the greatest obstacle in your way to accomplishment. It is your greatest your greatest enemy in your path to victory. Abandon that thought. Cast it away so that it may never approach the furthest borders of your mind. Never give up!

The greatest and most successful people this world has ever seen acted on this very belief of never giving up. They believed in themselves and in their efforts and never doubted themselves even for a split second that they cannot accomplish their goals. They motivated themselves to work toward their goals and struggled with dedication to complete their missions and their names soared in the world for their great works and accomplishments. Those great works and accomplishments only became possible through their relentless struggles and unwavering motivation. So what if you have encountered failure on your quest to your goals. These people too suffered defeated at the hands of their ambitions but they stood up every time they fell. They learned from their fall and avoided it in their next attempt. So never give up your goals and dreams if you encounter failure. You will fall once, twice, five times, eight times but you are bound to succeed on the ninth. History is the witness of many such endless struggles of the many of its great figures who stood up every time they tripped and fell. Some of these great examples live in our current era and share the world with us as they make their mark on the world and are etching their names in the pages of the ever observing history.

People tend to give on their dreams when someone, who has already lost to his ambitions and gave up half way, tells them that it’s hopeless. Don’t listen to them. You are the master of your own fortune. We have some leading and most successful such examples living in our world who achieved their goals and dreams when everyone around them told them otherwise. Take Lionel Messi as an example. Messi had growth hormone deficiency in his childhood and was nicknames “The Flea” by his older brother Rodrigo because of his small size. He was told that he was too small to play football and despite his immense talent no club was willing to take him because of his €500 expenses for monthly treatment. But the little guy never gave up just because he told to do so. He continued to practice, won the heart of the FC Barcelona’s sporting director with his beautiful skills, honed through endless practice, in the trials and became one of the best players the football world. He never let his goals out of his sight and continuously ran towards them even when everybody around him became a pebble for him to trip on.

So believe in yourself. You are your greatest obstacle in the way of your ambitions. If Messi can do it, so can you. You are in no way any less than anybody else. If someone else has already done it, then you know it’s not impossible and hopeless. All you have to do is to dedicate yourself to your goal and keep struggling towards it no matter what. Genuine effort and hard work never goes to waste.
